I've since switched to switch axe and cut my hunt times in half or better. I've since come to realize WHY there are no skill videos of guys fighting a rathalos with a charge blade, man that's not fun. But, when you're new, branching out after spending so much time to develop your skills on the only weapon you've got available to progress. I know I'm not the only guy that made a similar decision starting my hunting career with this weapon, and I'll be the first to admit that I was stubborn about making the weapon work against anything and everything. It can do everything! That was it, I was gonna go for it. I watched the charge blade video and was just enthralled. So weeks before the game released I started watching gaijin hunters weapons tutorials trying to decide which weapon I wanted to main. I was super excited to get into this game, my buddy was hyping it up non-stop, got the preorder package and everything. Let me just preface this post by saying this is my first monster hunter game.
